Calligraphr is a web app that converts your handwriting or hand-drawn calligraphy into a real vector font you can install and type with. You download a printable template, fill in the characters by hand, scan or photograph the sheet, and Calligraphr extracts each glyph and assembles them into a TrueType or OpenType file.

The free tier supports a basic Latin character set, while a paid Pro plan unlocks ligatures, multiple character variants, dead keys for accents, and far larger character sets (Cyrillic, Greek, full extended Latin). It's been around for over a decade, originally as MyScriptFont, and is one of the most established single-purpose font-creation tools on the web.
