Mind Map
Mind Map is an online mind map editing tool supporting creation, editing, and export of mind maps. The tool provides an intuitive visual interface and rich keyboard shortcuts, helping users quickly organize thoughts, structure information, and present knowledge hierarchies.
Features
Intuitively create and adjust mind map structures through mouse dragging and clicking. Supports freely moving nodes, adjusting canvas position, and zooming views.
Supports adding child nodes, sibling nodes, parent nodes, deleting nodes, copying and pasting nodes, and other basic operations. Nodes can contain text content and support direct editing modifications. Supports three layout directions: left distribution, right distribution, and bilateral distribution.
Supports creating connection lines between any two nodes to show relationships. Supports collapsing and expanding node children to simplify view or focus on specific branches. After editing, mind maps can be exported as PNG images.
Provides over 20 keyboard shortcuts significantly improving editing efficiency. From node addition/deletion to view control, almost all operations can be completed via keyboard.

Use Cases
Quickly record and organize creative ideas, using mind map's divergent structure to inspire more ideas. Structure learning content, reading notes, course outlines. Break down project tasks, organize workflows, formulate plan steps. Record meeting discussion points, decisions, and action plans. Organize speech or report content outlines, structure logic and key points. Analyze problem causes, impacts, and solutions.
Usage Recommendations
When creating mind maps, first determine central theme, then expand layer by layer outward, maintaining theme focus. Node text should use concise keywords or phrases rather than complete sentences for easier reading and memory.
Recommend controlling mind map levels to 3-5 layers, excessive depth leads to complex structure. Node connections represent non-hierarchical relationships, avoid overuse. When handling large mind maps, use collapse function to hide temporarily unneeded branches.
While browsers save editing state, recommend regularly exporting images or screenshots to avoid data loss.
Notes
Mind map data is saved in browser local storage, clearing browser cache or changing devices will cause data loss. Important content should be exported as images or manually backed up.
Tool is developed based on modern browser technology, recommend using latest versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari, etc. Exported PNG image quality depends on canvas rendering, if mind map content is extensive, exported image may be large.
Excessive mind map nodes will affect editing smoothness, recommend controlling single mind map nodes within 100. Overly complex content can be split into multiple mind maps. Tool is primarily optimized for desktop devices, mobile browser touch operations and keyboard shortcut support may be limited.
Common Questions
How to save mind map$1 Mind map automatically saves in browser local storage, content persists after page refresh. For long-term saving or sharing, please export as image.
